Mountain, February 2002 Come
and join two Thredbo legends as we head to Mammoth Mountain in California for
7 days of skiing the mountain that is renowned as having the longest season and
the heaviest snow fall record in the world. Mammoth Mountain is a five hour drive
from either Los Angeles or San Francisco, accommodation will be "Thredbo
Style" on the snow.

Mountain provides over 3,500 acres of amazing High Sierra terrain – wide open
bowls, steep chutes, tree-lined cruisers and terrain parks and half pipes that
draw skiers and riders of all ages and abilities. More than 150 trails for every
temptation dot the landscape with names like Hangman’s Hollow and Climax, Broadway
and Mambo, and Hansel and Gretel. Thirty lifts quickly move you between Main Lodge,
Canyon Lodge and Little Eagle; and mountains of snow allow for lengthy winter
seasons. Thirty-two feet of snow blankets the mountain between November and June
making for outrageous powder days, exhilarating face shots, and epic secret stashes.
